Buderim sits on a volcanic plateau with rich soil, tall trees and pockets of rainforest like Buderim Forest Park. It is one of the greenest suburbs on the coast, and that greenery brings pests right up to the walls of the house.
Many homes are on sloping blocks with split levels, retaining walls and deep subfloors. These damp, sheltered spaces suit funnel-web and huntsman spiders, cockroaches and rats, and the large gum trees in older streets are a common source of termites.
We look at how your block drains, where trees overhang the roof and how the garden meets the house. Treatment is then focused on the places pests use to move from the garden inside.

We treat the full perimeter, retaining walls and subfloor, dust the roof void, and target spider webs and harbourage points around decks and garages.
Where rodents are present, we set tamper-resistant bait stations in the roof and around the garden.

Old gum and camphor laurel trees near the house can hide termite nests. General treatment will not stop them.
We recommend a yearly termite inspection and can check nearby trees for activity at the same time.

Cut branches back at least a metre from the roof, keep leaf litter off paths and away from walls, and check that retaining walls drain properly.
Buderim homes generally benefit from a six-monthly treatment, especially before the wet season.

Andy completed a pest inspection at our property in Brisbane and his knowledge is second to none. He is very friendly and genuine and provided a great service. At the end of the pest inspection, he showed us through his findings and talked through different pest control methods and some things we could do to help lessen the chance of any termites finding the property attractive.

Funnel-web spiders do occur in parts of the Sunshine Coast hinterland and ranges. Treat any large black spider with caution and call us if you find burrows near the house.
No. We treat structures, paths and the base of walls, not your plants.
Trim overhanging branches, seal gaps at the eaves and use locked bait stations. We can do all three.
