Sippy Downs has grown quickly around the University of the Sunshine Coast, with new estates, townhouses and share houses on land that was bushland not long ago. When habitat is cleared, ants, spiders and rodents move into the nearest homes.
Newer houses often have termite management systems installed at build, but these need to be kept clear and checked. Share houses and student rentals, meanwhile, deal with cockroaches from busy kitchens and frequent tenant changes.

Ant nests in fresh turf and garden beds, spiders around new window frames and cockroaches in the garage are common in homes on recently cleared land.
In share houses, cockroaches around the toaster, microwave and bins are the usual first sign.

Land clearing pushes pests out of their natural nests and into the closest structures. New landscaping, mulch and irrigation then give them food and water.
This settles over time, but early treatment stops pests from becoming established inside.

We apply a residual barrier around the slab edge, window and door frames, and gel bait in kitchens and bathrooms. Garden beds and turf get targeted ant treatment.
For rentals, we offer an end-of-lease treatment with a receipt for your bond or property manager.

Many new Sippy Downs homes rely on a physical or chemical termite barrier. Garden beds, pavers or mulch built over the slab edge can bridge it.
We can check your system is clear and working as part of a termite inspection.

Wipe benches nightly, take bins out regularly and keep mulch at least 75 mm below the slab edge. Avoid overwatering new gardens near the house.

Cody was great at communicating let know when he going to arrive and was on time. He and Tom did a very through job and went above and beyond. Andy completed a pest inspection at our property in Brisbane and his knowledge is second to none. He is very friendly and genuine and provided a great service. At the end of the pest inspection, he showed us through his findings and talked through different pest control methods and some things we could do to help lessen the chance of any termites finding the property attractive.
