Overview
Coolum Beach sits between Mount Coolum National Park, coastal heath and the ocean. Many homes back onto bushland or dunes, and pests move between the scrub and the house every night.
Beach houses here are often timber or fibro, with verandas, outdoor showers and sandy yards. These give spiders, cockroaches and rats plenty of shelter, and coastal banksia and heath are known termite habitat.
We check how bushland and dunes meet your property, then build a barrier that deals with pests at the boundary before they reach the house.

Keep a clear strip between vegetation and the house, store firewood and timber off the ground and away from walls, and fix leaking outdoor taps.
Bushland and beachside homes do best with treatment every six months.

Andy completed a pest inspection at our property in Brisbane and his knowledge is second to none. He is very friendly and genuine and provided a great service. At the end of the pest inspection, he showed us through his findings and talked through different pest control methods and some things we could do to help lessen the chance of any termites finding the property attractive.
